1 – GENERAL PURPOSE
Students on the minimum requirements and measures to protect safety, health and the working environment in the activities of the naval construction, repair and dismantling industry.
2 – ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Activities of the shipbuilding and repair industry are considered to be all those carried out within the scope of the facilities used for this purpose or on the vessels and structures themselves, such as ships, boats, speedboats, fixed or floating platforms, among others.
3 – SCOPE OF WORK
The Naval Industry Workers’ Admission Training – NR-34 is intended for all workers in the shipbuilding, repair and dismantling industry.
4 – TARGET PUBLIC
Offshore Workers.
5 – REQUIREMENTS
The student, at the time of enrollment, must present a copy and the original (for verification) or certified copy of documents that prove:
- Being over eighteen (18) years old, on the day of enrollment.
- Have completed elementary school.
6 – TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO FOLLOW THE DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE
The courses offered by West Group online use a teaching methodology which activities are organized within a Virtual Learning Environment .
Therefore , to participate in a course in the distance learnign modality , you need to have basic knowlodge in computers , specially knowing how to navigate over the internet.
