1 – GENERAL PURPOSE
Develop issues about the basic guidelines for the implementation of measures to protect the safety and health of workers in health services, as well as those who carry out health promotion and assistance activities in general.
2 – ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
• Unit 1: Biological Hazards o Introduction and interpretation of NR-32 o Control measures for exposure to agents o Hygiene standards and procedures o CPE, PPE and work clothes o Prevention of accidents and incidents o Measures adopted in case of accidents and incidents o Annexes I and II of NR-32.
• Unit 2: Chemical and Physical Hazards MSDS, signage and labeling o Identification of potential health risks (PGR) o Safety procedures regarding the use of chemicals o Procedures adopted in case of emergency, accidents or incidents o Main routes of occupational exposure to antineoplastic chemotherapeutic agents o Therapeutic and adverse effects of these drugs, in the short and long term
3 – SCOPE OF WORK
Offshore, onshore, general industrial and any activity that takes place indoors that are classified as confined spaces e.g.: (granary, talks, wells, vessels, towers, water tank, etc.).
4 – TARGET PUBLIC
Professional who acts in health areas.
5 – REQUIREMENTS
The student must be at least 18 years and High School Diploma or GED
