1 – GENERAL PURPOSE

Provide participants with training in the best practices in safety in installation, operation, maintenance, inspection of equipment in process units, pressure vessels and piping, and first aid, in accordance with the regulatory standard NR-13 of the Ministry of Labor.

This course complies with MTB Ordinance No. 1.082, of December 18, 2018.

2 -ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE 

At the end of the course, the student will have knowledge about:

• Notions of applied physics;
• Notions of applied chemistry;
• Topics of inspection and maintenance of equipment and records;
• Process equipment. Hours established according to the complexity of the unit, where applicable;
• Instrumentation;
• Unit operation;
• Legislation and standardization.

3 – SCOPE OF WORK

After completing the training and supervised internship, provided for in the NR-13 standard, the student will be able to safely act in the activities of installation, operation, maintenance and inspection of process unit equipment, pressure vessels and piping.

4 – TARGET PUBLIC

Professionals who work directly or indirectly in the industrial activities of installation, operation, maintenance and inspection of process unit equipment, pressure vessels and piping, aiming to comply with the NR-13 Regulatory Standard.

5 –  REQUIREMENTS

The minimum prerequisite for participation as a student in the Boiler Operation Safety Course is a certificate of completion of high school.

6 – TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO FOLLOW THE DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE
