1 – GENERAL PURPOSE
To train professionals to work in the internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), in order to promote the safety and health of workers, aiming at the prevention of accidents and diseases resulting from labor, being prepared for observation, Performance and reporting of occupational risk factors, aiming to mitigate them.
2 – ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
At the end of the course, the student will be aware:
- Organization of the CIPA and other matters necessary for the exercise of the Commission’s tasks;
- Study of the environment, working conditions, as well as the risks arising from the production process of the company;
- Research methodology and analysis of accidents and occupational diseases;
- Notions about accidents and occupational diseases arising from exposure to the risks existing in the company;
- Notions about acquired immunodeficiency syndrome-AIDS, and preventive measures;
- Notions about labor and social security legislations related to occupational safety and health;
- General principles of occupational hygiene and risk control measures;
- Risk perception;
- Knowledge for the elaboration of risk map.
3 – SCOPE OF WORK
Internal Accident Prevention Commission (CIPA).
4 – TARGET PUBLIC
The CIPA course is aimed at the training of members of the CIPA (internal Commission for accident Prevention) or employees who are interested in being part of the CIPA, whose mission in the company is the prevention of occupational accidents and illnesses according to NR-05.
5 – REQUIREMENTS
This course does not have a prerequisite.
6 – TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO FOLLOW THE DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE
The courses offered by West Group online use a teaching methodology which activities are organized within a Virtual Learning Environment . Therefore , to participate in a course in the distance learnign modality , you need to have basic knowlodge in computers , specially knowing how to navigate over the internet.
7 – METHODOLOGY
It will occur through lectures, dynamic and contextualized through videos, and exercise lists are applied.
8 – DURATION
The course will be given at 20 hours (2,5 days).
9 – VALIDITY
This course is valid for 1 year.
