1 – GENERAL PURPOSE 

Empower the students to act safely  dangerous products, guiding them on risk recognition and assesment procedures , as well as protection measure and transitory emergencies.

2 –ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

At the end of the course, the students will be able to:

• Knowing how to identify hazardous materials;
• Explain the risks involved when handling hazardous materials ;
• Discuss what must be done in an emergency involving hazardous materials,
• and how to take protective measures.

3 – SCOPE OF WORK 

The students will be able to in the following activities :

• Loading, unloading or handling hazardous materials ;
• Preparation of hazardous materials for transport ;
• Supervision, coordination of transport of hazardous materials .

4 – TARGET PUBLIC 

Professionals involved in the preparation transport and handling of hazardous materials.

5 –  REQUIREMENTS

Be at least 18 years on the day of registration, High School education or GED.

6 – TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO FOLLOW THE DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE
